They require a hands on and experienced civil operators to join the team and work on numerous road projects across North Queensland. The position will be an ongoing Monday to Saturday role 10hrs/day. The successful person will need to have; * A current drivers licence. * Experience in civil road construction. * Experience in operating paver, roller, screed and other mobile plant machinery, * Traffic control ticket an advantage (level 1 min), * Good time management and communication skills, * Be able to live harmoniously with other staff in an isolated camp environment. * Be safety aware and have an excellent site safety record. * Hold a current Construction Blue/White card * Must pass a medical and physical check prior to commencement, which is paid by the client. Duties will include assisting tradesman, as well as maintaining the cleanliness of the yard with general labouring and cleaning tasks. Successful candidate must hold a fork lift ticket and have similar proven experience. This is a local position to Hedland, no FIFO or housing will be provided. May be subject to random site DAS. The main duties of the role will include working on two large construction sites performing general site clean up duties such as rubbish removal, sweeping, cleaning out of lunch rooms and toilets and assisting various trades people on site. To be considered for the role you will need to have experience working on construction sites in a similar role, have a construction safety card (blue card or equivalent, steel capped boots, hard hat, high visibility vest or shirt and own reliable transport. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a large company that may lead to long term ongoing casual work for the right candidate.
