Fitter and Turner (Machinist) First Year Apprentice
 
Our client is a market leader in the manufacturer of steel products, supplying to the mining and construction sectors in the Laverton North area.
We are seeking to appoint a first year apprentice in the heavy industrial sector that has completed a pre apprentice in mechanical maintenance.

The successful person will be required to perform general mechanical maintenance to plant equipment.
 
To be successful in this role you will need to:
 
 Have completed the relevant pre-apprenticeship
 Have the ability to work as part of a team
 Drivers Licence and own transport
 Have a "can" do attitude
 Have good communication and interpersonal skills
 Have a genuine interest in the role and be mechanically minded
 Committed to a four year apprenticeship
 Available to work 7am to 3:30pm
The successful person may be required to commence work at 6am. On successful completion you will receive a Nationally Recognised Certificate III Qualification.
