Initially reporting to the Project General Manager on a site, this key role will oversee Mining, Technical Services, Finance and Administration and the Safety, Health and Environmental departments. This exciting role will see you actively planning and leading project resources to maximise the essential elements of complex project outcomes and provide strategic leadership and direction to your management team and project workforce. You will receive outstanding mentoring to enhance your already strong management and production abilities to ensure that your career gets fast tracked into a Project General Manager role within a very short period of time.

You will have strong management experience and a proven ability to lead and inspire your people to achieve outstanding business results. Your expertise in the management of compliance and sustaining a high standard of proactive safety and environmental management will see you succeed. Working closely with your client you must have an unquestionable commitment and value for safety, delivery, innovation, promotion of teamwork and have a high desire to develop a high performance team through instigating a collaborative culture.

This leadership role requires outstanding communication, negotiation and relationship management skills. Good time management, planning and commercial management skills are also essential as is good computer literacy.

A tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering would be highly desirable. More important will be your drive, enthusiasm and well-rounded ability to create an empowered and challenging team culture that delivers outstanding performance.
