Our client is currently seeking a motivated and suitably qualified Laboratory Analyst to join their team in the South West of Western Australia for a fixed term contract. This position will see the successful applicant sampling and analysing refinery process liquor streams, aiding in plant projects as well as reporting the results to operations personnel. You will also assist in the calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment, along with assisting in the training of laboratory staff. Experience in analytical procedures such as Gas Chromatography, XRF analysis and ICP analysis would be an advantage. To be considered for this role, you must possess a minimum Certificate in Laboratory Practices and/or have extensive experience working in a production laboratory environment. Good communication skills, strong attention to detail, an ability to work as a team member and an excellent safety outlook are all essential attributes for this role. You must possess, or be prepared to obtain, a current Marcsta card and a current Mines Health Workers Surveillance Certificate. The successful applicant will be required to work on varied 12 hour shifts of days and nights.
