Statutory Classes Credit Control Officers

We currently have two positions available within our Lismore Statutory Classes Credit Control team - a permanent fulltime vacancy within our compulsory third party (CTP) team, and a maximum 12 month contract position within our Workers Compensation business unit.
Working as part of a large & busy team, this role will see you undertaking collection and account reconciliation activities in a timely manner to impact the achievement of either the WorkCover NSW collections benchmark or NSW CTP debtors performance targets.
This role will see you influencing the retention of preferred business through the provision of quality customer service to intermediaries and policyholders. You will be required to follow established debt collection workflows, ensure timely and accurate distribution of monthly statements for policyholders & intermediaries, and undertake pre-emptive and proactive overdue debtor telephone calls to minimise debts. Referrals to & management of external debt collection agencies are also key elements of the role.
To excel in this position you will draw on credit control and customer service experience. You will be of analytical mind, bring sound computer literacy, keyboard and numeracy skills, along with your effective verbal & written communication & problem solving skills. You will be organised, have strong relationship management skills, and the ability to work under pressure. Previous experience in workers compensation/CTP & advanced MS Excel skills are desirable.
