THE COMPANY
You will be working for a long standing Financial Services group, recognised for providing investment, insurance and superannuation solutions to their customers.
THE RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Senior Group Claims Assessor you will be responsible for:
- Effectively managing a portfolio of high value and complex claims
- Assessing claims on a financial, medical, legal, occupational and rehabilitation basis
- Assisting with the development, support and education of Claims Assessors within your own team
- The types of claims administered include Life, Terminal Illness, Trauma, TPD, Income Protection, and Business Overheads
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
As the ideal candidate you will have:
- Solid group claims experience at a senior level
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including effective listening and empathy
- Strong negotiation skills
- Strong attention to detail, problem solving and decision making skills
- The ability to coach and act as a mentor
