THE RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Group Claims Assessor you will be responsible for:
- Effectively managing a portfolio of claims
- Assessing claims on a financial, medical, legal, occupational and rehabilitation basis
- Assessing claims with empathy and a level of understanding
- The types of claims administered include Total Disability Insurance, Terminal Illness, Total and Temporary Disablement, and Temporary Salary Continuance
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
As the ideal candidate you will have:
- Solid group claims experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including effective listening and empathy
- Strong negotiation skills
- Strong attention to detail, problem solving and decision making skills
