Our client is a significant player in the Australian mining industry providing a range of services and products to the national and global markets.

Currently they are seeking an OH&S Advisor on a Contract basis to assist during in integration period.
Providing quality OHS&E support to all business units in the Hunter and assisting with conducting site audits whilst setting up safety systems and processes.

Your responsibilities will include delivery of training and competency materials, promotion and support of OHS&E principles to ensure that they are understood and communicated across the organisation.

You will ensure compliance to Incident Reporting and Investigation procedures, whilst managing relevant workers compensation and rehabilitation functions.

You will promote a positive “Safe’ culture in the organisation, have highly effective influencing skills and problem solving experience in a safety conscious environment.

OHS/HSE qualifications are essential combined with a Cert IV in workplace training and assessment.
