The Client: Join a market leader in Electrical Retail Distribution and Generation based in Queensland. With multiple major project underway, they are now looking for a Project Manager to join the Business initially on a contract basis. The Role: The purpose of this role is to successfully deliver all allocated projects on time and within budget, whist utilising all company project management tools, systems and methodologies. You will also monitor and manage all project delivery risks, develop and maintain all client relationships, maintain 100% compliance within legislation and internal policy and demonstrate commitment to health and safety at all levels. Major responsibilities will include develop, gain approval, implement and maintain accurate project management plans, manage progression of end to end project requirements and manage all safety, environment and quality control. Other duties will include engage and lead multi-discipline project teams by setting clear expectations and duties, proactively monitor project progress and possible risk and ensure all project and corporate information in captured accurately for reporting. What’s Needed: Degree level qualifications in Project Management or equivalent certification/education standard • Proven extensive track record in successfully managing significant projects, with demonstrated history of delivering against project and business Key Performance Indicators. • Demonstrated extensive skills in successfully managing and mitigating risks and / or issues that have the potential to impact project delivery • Proven high level ability in establishing and maintaining effective relationships with customers, peers, service providers and stakeholders and resolve conflict under pressure and within time constraints. • Demonstrated well developed skills in establishing, leading and managing project teams, in order to achieve project targets and objectives and completion of necessary documentation to professional standard. • Demonstrated detailed knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety issues, procedures and policies, Environmental Management Systems, and the Electricity Act and Regulations and Electrical Safety Act and Regulations. • Proven ability to demonstrate and embrace behaviours that align to values of; Safety, Professionalism, Integrity, Respect, Innovation & Teamwork. Due to the nature of this role it is essential that you are able to travel state wide for approximately 1 week per month or as when required.
