Our client is one of Australias leading infrastructure providers who over the years have built a solid industry reputation for the successful delivery of Design and Construction Projects across major power transmission & distribution and Substation Construction.

Due to growth and a pipeline of exciting projects to deliver around the Sydney and Brisbane area there has arisen an opportunity for a number of Project Engineers (Primary&Secondary) to be part of a highly motivated team based in Sydney, this is long term opportunity where you will be able work with complete autonomy to run your own projects as a Project Manager.

The position:

• Manage and coordinate multidisciplinary engineering activities
• Communicate with the design team by setting design targets and monitoring them according to quality, budgetary requirements and codes/standards
• Report to the project management team with regular updates relating to delivery of project engineering activities according to set out schedule
• Maintain a 'zero harm' work culture with a strong emphasis on OHS requirements

Your Experience:

• At least 12 months HV project engineering experience (11kV or above)
• Relevant degree qualification (Electrical or related engineering degree)
• Experience working with either Design/Construction ideally on substation or transmission lines
• Experience in managing onsite staff and labour
• Excellent communication skills both oral and written
