This global EPCM organisation is currently looking to add a Senior Mechanical Designer to their team in their Brisbane offices. Widely considered to be a leading force in the Global resources market. The successful candidate will be engaged on interesting design projects on various commodities both here in Australia as well as international projects. 

As the Senior Mechanical Designer, you will need to have hands on experience in the use of Bentley MicroStation and will be involved in the design of major Minerals Processing Plant Projects within the fields of Minerals & Metals such as Gold, Copper (rare metals) etc. Experience in the design of Bulk Materials Handling (BMH) equipment and mine plant design is essential. You will be able to supervise a small team of subordinate designers and be able to produce drawings on time and within budget

To be successful in this role you will possess the following:

• Proven Minerals Processing plant design experience 
• Proven experience in the use of Bentley MicroStation software package is essential
• Minimum 5 years experience  
• Bulk Materials Handling Experience with rare metals is required  
• An approved Diploma qualification in Engineering Design Drafting and/or directly related industry experience of minimum of five years in drafting.
• Remuneration will be commensurate with experience.
