The Melbourne arm of a world wide integrated advertising network is seeking to appoint a Digital Art Director. The agency has multiple awards under their belt and a client list which allows them to embark on fun and innovative projects and campaigns. Their client base includes a mix of clients including FMCG, Government and Automotive. Recent award winning campaigns have utilised a variety of elements including online, mobile, digital outdoor installations and pure integrated campaigns. You Now: * You are a creative stuck in the body of a design production monkey. Full of creative concepts and digital innovation but held back by the fact that your integrated agency views digital creatives as number two to traditional art and creative directors. * You are sick of being asked to contribute after the brief has been taken or a pitch has been finalised and all of the fun stuff has been conceptualised. You in Your Next Role: * You will love having the freedom to develop compelling, disciplined ideas and design creative, persuasive long term brand-building campaigns. * Rather than just managing the creative execution, you will develop ideas that work in the online space and can successfully cross all channels. * You will enjoy developing strong relationships with clients and taking briefs from concept through to execution. * You will have a close working relationship with other creative teams within the agency. * You will work closely with the Creative Director, Account Directors, Digital Producer, Copywriters and the Director of Digital to ensure the best possible result. You will have: * Minimum of 4 years Advertising Agency Experience. * Digital focus and trend awareness. * Excellent visual design and typographical skills. * An ability to create, interpret and bring to life concepts into finished digital work. * Passionate about the work and keen to push things forward technically and aesthetically. * An appreciation/experience with designing social networking/blog/user-generated-content sites. * Client liaison experience and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design rationale. * Experience working on multiple projects at once, under the direction of Creative Director and Digital Director.
