The position is for an Account Coordinator (Trade Coordinator) to manage a portfolio of customers in a fast paced and diverse environment

We are seeking candidates with business development, client relationship management and account management background. The role involves:

  • Maintaining regular contact with your own portfolio of clients to improve their knowledge of each other's businesses, increase trade volume and initiate transactions - to achieve set targets.
  • Creation of innovative vehicles to drive trade and enhance your client base, using the provided resources available, whilst monitoring and recording trade.
  • Education of your clientele to develop opportunities, solve problems and increase networking - through personal visits and social interaction at client/staff functions.
  • Encouraging team environments, through participation in meetings, account management, negotiations, administration, and trade analysis, whilst assisting members with self-promotion - acting as the marketing arm of their organisations where needed.
  • Profile, familiarise and patronage your portfolio's businesses to help on-sell and refer them, whilst using your business development skills to initiate sales strategies to help member businesses trade, expand and flourish.
  • Implement service and communication plans or events, to prospect new traders and market members' products/services to achieve member satisfaction, attraction and retention through development and involvement in various advertising campaigns through multiple promotional mediums.
